How Much Is My Face Worth?

Today's post is an interesting one - how much does my face cost; when I'm slapping goop all up on my face, how much money am I taking from my pocket? Keep reading to find out how much dough I've put out to make myself look halfway presentable.

Estee Lauder Daywear Lotion {For Oily Skin}: I love this moisturizer from Estee Lauder. I apply it before my makeup and after I wash my face. It's light, perfect for oily skin, and helps my makeup glide on. $50

Estee Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi Protection Anti Oxidant Lotion SPF 15 1.7 oz / 50 ml Oily Skin

Estee Lauder Stay-in-Place Makeup {Shade 1N1}: After I apply my moisturizer, I use a dampened makeup sponge to apply this foundation. It's a sheer-medium coverage with one layer when I use the sponge. This is a drier liquid foundation, in my opinion, so using the moisturizer and the wet sponge add a more dewy, natural finish. Typically I like my foundation matte, but this makes my skin look a little to dry. I apply two coats. $37

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer {light}: This concealer is perfect for covering up my relentless acne. Even with a lot to cover up, I only need a pea sized amount to cover everything. $6

Cover Girl Invisible Concealer: I'm not a fan of the Hard Candy Concealer under my eyes so for that, I will use this CoverGirl concealer. It's less heavy and leans more towards the sheer side, which I like. I don't need glowing white undereyes, so this helps to take out some of the purple tones I tend to have after a night filled with hours of video editing and blogging! {Can you tell this puppy went through the washing machine?! LOL!!} $6

Rimmel London Stay Matte Translucent Powder: Ah, my beloved. Oh, how I love this baby. Coming from a girl with constantly oily skin, I can honestly say that this beauty keeps my face matte for hours. Praise the Lord! $4

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Bronzer (bottom right pan): Well, everybody wants to look like a goddess, so say hello to my favorite bronzer! If done with a heavy hand (which I've done many a time before), this bronzer looks disgusting and muddy and orange. But when applied with my Sigma F40 Angled Contour Brush to my cheeks, temples, hair line and nose lightly, it looks amazing! $36 (for the full size)

Physicians Formula Mosaic Blush: Lately I've been leaning towards my bronzer (I can't stand to put both blush and bronzer on at the same time) lately, but this is my favorite summer blush. It looks like all of the blushes in the palette above, but more pigmented and this one's drugstore! $11

In total, my face costs around $150!! What the hey? I would've never guessed that that much money has been invested into my makeup... and that's not even compensating for all of my eye makeup and abundance of lip products I own. Holy cow!
